Project of the Debrecen Informatics Research and Development Center (DIKfK) Non-profit Kft
A real consortium solution combines the knowledge and competence of several implementers
The Debrecen Informatics Research and Development Center Service Non-profit Limited Liability Company was founded by six owners on December 17, 2007, specifically to carry out research and development activities.
The aim of the founders is to create a market player in the region's research and development services market through the implementation of R&D sub-projects with high added value in the field of information technology, which can serve its customers from the business and scientific spheres with outstanding quality. With the experience of creating innovative products and a university background, a unique competence center is created, which produces internationally marketable results already during the project.
The founders of the "Centre":
University of Debrecen
GEOVIEW SYSTEMS Kft.
ISH Kft.
Corvex Zrt.
ORGWARE Kft.
NetLock Kft.
The mission of the joint project is to develop the Debrecen Informatics Research Development Center Service Non-profit Limited Liability Company into a dominant player in the research and development services market of the Northern Great Plain Region by achieving the following goals
development of a unique competence center by employing postdoctoral fellows and Ph.D. students;
continuous feedback of professional results into higher technical and natural science education;
providing high-quality services to customers;
contributing to the development of internationally innovative, commercially usable products, services and technologies.
In order to achieve the best efficiency during the implementation of the project, the project participants develop the forms of cooperation with respect to certain sub-projects, and the areas where the participants provide the highest added value in terms of competences. In the following, the areas of the project in which our company participates will be described.
Development of web-based services based on a higher education integrated database is a sub-project
The aim of the project is to develop WEB-based services that can be marketed internationally (primarily in the Central and Eastern European region) and which represent a serious added value compared to the currently available services.
During the project, based on theoretical research, we prepare the system design of the IT solution to be created, after that we develop the prototype, during the preparation of which we continuously test the individual completed modules, and then subject the final product to intensive testing. Finally, depending on the availability of the various databases, we perform a pilot (demo) operation with the developed product.
Regional GIS system and regional integrated database sub-project
The aim of the project is to create a quasi-standard and recommendation to facilitate the creation of the regional GIS portal, which provides a uniform interoperable solution for the creation of different regional GIS portals and the creation of interfaces with existing ones. During the project, based on the theoretical research, we prepare the system design of the regional GIS solution to be created, after that we develop the prototype, during the preparation of which we continuously test the individual GIS modules to be completed, and then the final product is subjected to intensive testing. Finally, depending on the availability of the various databases, we perform a pilot (demo) operation with the developed product.
Destination management (intelligent tourism systems) sub-project
The goal of the project is to create a solution that involves the mapping of international best practices and the preparation of multi-aspect analyzes related to them (usefulness, prevalence, etc.) according to aspects. After collecting and organizing the international practical recommendations and quasi-standards, new recommendations and quasi-standards are prepared. Building on the previous ones, interoperable regional location-based destination management systems can be realized with databases organized on the basis of NUTS.
A quasi-standard and recommendation promoting the development of regional location-based destination management, which provides a unified interoperable solution for the preparation of different destination management and for the development of interfaces with existing ones. During the project, based on the theoretical research, we prepare the system design of the regional location-based destination management solution to be created, after that we develop the prototype, during the preparation of which we continuously test the individual completed modules, and then subject the final product to intensive testing. Finally, depending on the availability of the various databases, we perform a pilot (demo) operation with the developed product.
Implementation of integrated customer service (Contact center), local service center
During the implementation of the sub-project, our goal is to support:
the spread of electronic administration using modern info-communication technologies;
through its platforms, it is accessible to wide social groups, satisfying real customer needs;
develops and creates interoperability between public administration and other service institutions
and rationalized processes
During the project, based on the models developed for theoretical research, we prepare the system design of the ICT solution to be created, after that we develop the prototype, during the preparation of which we continuously test the individual completed modules, and then subject the final product to intensive testing. Finally, depending on the availability of the various related institutions, we will carry out a pilot (demo) operation with the developed product.
e-Learning and electronic community building sub-project
The aim of the project is to develop solutions that result in services that can be used in the market sector in addition to public administration. In the course of the project, based on the models developed for theoretical research, we prepare the system design of the e-community solution to be created, after that we develop the prototype, during the preparation of which we continuously test the individual completed modules, and then subject the final product to intensive testing. Finally, depending on the availability of the various related institutions, we will carry out a pilot (demo) operation with the developed product.
to achieve the goals, a multi-level series of steps will be launched, which:
includes the availability of the electronically accessible distance education framework (CMS), study material and "exam system" for the public sector concerned [Training level], furthermore,
provides participants with a virtual educational environment (VLE) in which they can consult with each other and with experts in the field;
provides a web tool (WIKI) that can be used by everyone to publish and edit materials/information;
provides a virtual presence, creates the opportunity for local / regional representation electronically, creates [Cooperation and database level] by building an appropriate legal and organizational database;
increases activity by building interactive, group work solutions available on the Internet, by getting involved in expert work and by making available materials available after thematic organization [Participation and work level];
creates ICT frameworks for regional participation by developing the cooperation and negotiation techniques of individual participants (Networking)
