The strategic goals of Paks Nuclear Power Plant Ltd. included the operation of its nuclear power plant unit for 20 years beyond its design lifetime. Nuclear Reactor Life Extension Programme The strategic goals of Paks Nuclear Power Plant ZRt. (PA Rt.), formulated in 2001, include the operation of its nuclear power plant units for 20 years beyond their design lifetime, in line with the long-term plans of MVM Rt. An indispensable prerequisite for this was the creation of a state-of-the-art IT system that would contain the information on the operation of the power plant in a uniform format accessible to all users. Geoview Systems Ltd. provided the nuclear power plant with a four-part geoinformation solution package. 1.Web12 MVM Paks Nuclear Power Plant Ltd. Integrated Graphical Technical Base System application, which is responsible for the management of the plant's map (geospatial) data in the following areas:

· floor plans of buildings

· utility network data

· buildings The system provides a web-based solution to ensure that the basic map information is available to the plant staff and can be used in their own workflows. 2.CARBON AutoCAD Map3D is the solution responsible for maintaining the map data in the Web12 system, providing:

· modify map data and associated attributes

· package-based change tracking

· data validation processes supported by automation The solution provides a universal possibility for validated data maintenance of web map publications. 3.Geodetic Network Measurement Processing System MVM Paks Nuclear Power Plant Zrt. manages geodetic and cartographic data in a separate Paks projection system to support construction tasks. Full monitoring of geodetic measurements related to the data is achieved with the following functions:

· coordinate systems management

· handling transformations

· keeping records of measuring instruments and protocols

· motion analysis The GHMFR system allows subcontractors to manage measurement data in a traceable way, providing a modern tool for flexible working. 4.Teamwork system The purpose of the teamwork system is to provide a common map interface that can handle concurrent notifications and execute them according to a fixed workflow. Map notifications can be assigned to users by topic and displayed in a common interface. Features:

· web map service

· the user can draw any shapes and annotations on the map without having to make any changes to the layers that build the map

· the applied shapes are placed on a special geo-spatial layer, which is connected to the layers that build the base map

· the shapes created are entered into the database, which can further assist in subsequent map-based workflows Advantage: Information edited by one user is immediately visible to users with similar rights, so that subtasks based on a particular map visualisation can be performed more efficiently and quickly.
